Top of the day to you!
You know I like to have something mid morning that will keep me going and going
and going. And you'll notice lately I've been sharing a lot of AM recipes with
you. I feel if you start the day with nothing but the best, then the rest of
the day will be a breeze. It's much the same as what we put into our minds determines
a lot of the end result of the day.
I'm usually up around 7:30 - 8 a.m. then about 10:30 - 11:00. I always have
something very sweet and succulent to start the day, then I go out and do my
2-3 mile walk while listening to the sounds of Nature or maybe a motivational
tape on my walkman. But when I come home and in the office for awhile I like
to have something more and since I just love sweet things in the morning.
Check out this recipe. Cut up about 2-3 Bananas and put into a bowl. Then take
4 small containers, much like the small dishes they give you the salad dressing
in when you ask for it on the side in a restaurant, and put Raisins in one of
them; 1 Date in another one; 5-6 dried Apricots in another; and a few Prunes
in another one. I usually come back into my office and go back to work and just
snack on it for a couple hours. This is so convenient and so nourishing. But
best of all it's simple and easy to do.
If you had a bank that credited $86,400 to your account each morning, carried
over the balance from day to day, allowed you to keep no cash in your account
at the end of 24 hours, canceled out whatever part of that amount you failed
to use, what would you do?
Try to spend every cent, of course! Well, everyone does have such a bank, and
its name is TIME. Every morning it credits you with 86,400 seconds.
The next morning at the same hour it rules as lost whatever of this you failed
to invest to good purpose. It carries over no balance and allows no overdrafts.
If you don't use the day's deposit, the loss is yours. There is no going back,
no drawing against tomorrow.
How do you spend your daily surplus? Eat good stuff so you'll always be touch
and my best wishes for an Enormous Return on your investment
TODAY.

PS I'm sorry you missed our tele-seminar this past Thursday. I have to say
that it was one of the best ones in the 2 years we've been doing them. Jack
LaLanne was awesome and Dr. Ted Morter was an incredible asset to the show.
Lori Ann Lloyd was a superb addition and Dr. Ken & Miki Thomas gave it that
special touch. But you don't have to miss out entirely as we have made the entire
2 hour and 10 minute show into an audio learning system that will be a welcomed
addition to your Health Education. I learned such a remarkable amount. Call
