Happy Thanksgiving Everyone
A good lesson I learned a long time ago about eating is to eat the fruits and
vegetables that are in season as they supply your body with the type of nutrients
that's conducive to that season! Now one of the foods that's in season right
now are chestnuts. And they're 'snap' to cook. And I always have them around
the Noon Meal as indicated in "The Perfect Diet Program"!
Here's the easiest way I know of to cook them. I eat around 10 of them in one
meal. Cut them in half or even quarters if you'd like. Place them in a Pyrex
dish with ¼ " of distilled water in the bottom of the dish, and
put the lid on and bring to a boil. Then let simmer for about 30 minutes and
come back and turn the stove off. Open them when you want to. I always eat them
over the Rice Recipe I gave you a few recipes ago on 10-14-99. Enjoy this one
and as I was listening to a new C/D I checked out of the Library (the best deal
in town) by Christian McBride "A Family Affair", I thought this would
be the ideal recipe for this week! It was one of those jam up moments where
you could tap your foot and watch the squirrels play around and the birds in
the back ground swinging and swaying as not to interrupt those jams by gosh
by golly! Just another one of those tremendous benefits of a home based business
and lovin' life to the max!
Stay Terrific!
